Philosophy

Trees are living creatures, which contribute towards maintaining a natural balance in the environment through their very existence. They provide the oxygen that we humans and other living creatures on this planet require in order to be able to live. Without trees no such life would be possible on the earth.

For manufacturing my didgeridoos I use trees that had to die because they were in the way of people (road and building construction) or I also use trees that died because of severe environmental pollution and the impact of climate change. This enables me to keep the trees "alive" or, to be more precise, to breath a new life into them. In doing so I give the trees an opportunity to please mankind's senses (seeing, hearing, feeling). See book tip 3.

I regard the didgeridoo as a link, allowing people to delve into forgotten and hidden levels of awareness. Even for today's "civilised" human being, who is unfortunately often very degenerated in terms of natural feeling and thinking, the didgeridoo enables access to a deeper state of consciousness.

The didgeridoo can very much enrich the life of an open-minded and receptive person.

I am overjoyed and deeply satisfied that I am able to make such a wonderful instrument and also to play it.
